Maison Baguette in Cologne

I stand at 5 degrees in front of the bookstore opposite and present my books to passers-by. Suddenly I am asked if I am PETER. OMG what now? Lo and behold, I am served a pot of hot potato soup with sausage slices in a disposable glass, which a "crazy" friend obviously ordered from Maison Baguette. The soup was K Ö S T L I CH and hot - exactly what I needed at the moment, but never thought of getting it. Thank you for taking part in this spontaneous fun - and: I'll be back - make potato soup - yummy :-D

Very tasty sandwiches, a variety of choices and a very friendly chef. Preparation can take a while, so bring some time or order ahead.

I cannot make a judgment about the taste. Because when I wanted to order something, a homeless man ran into the kitchen and shook hands with the cook. I learned it was a driver from the board. Such a noble task frees you from washing your hands and other hygienic measures in a kitchen.

Baguettes and crepes are very tasty, prices are great. A small point of criticism is that the very nice employees are not up to the often large crowd.

The baguettes were delicious, freshly occupied, baked and then a homemade sauce. In addition there was a pomegranate juice spritzer, perfect. We look forward to the next visit.

Maison Baguette is an authentic restaurant on the "Immer in BewegungsVenloerStraße" in Ehrenfeld. The owner is super friendly, has a smile at peak times and makes delicious baguettes and crepes. There is the possibility to sit inside and outside and is served very friendly. The food is very, very delicious and you can sit there relaxed and comfortable. Of course there are other options on the Venloer Straße but I highly recommend this restaurant there with "love and passion" the food is freshly prepared.

Super store. The Lord is very nice and accommodating. Everything is very clean and appetizing. I can only recommend!

Very friendly shop with 100% organic coffee. Great selection of baguettes. addendum: I ate No. 11, the vegan baguette with falafel, zucchini, fried onions, peppers and champions. It was great!

We had an absolutely terrible experience here. We were going with six colleagues for lunch yesterday: We arrived at 1245ish, and greeted by the nice waitress. We ordered the fairly priced menu of a baguette, pancake and drink. The baguette was actually nothing special, and we finished this about 1315. Then the true horror started. We had to wait for over half an hour or the six crepes. We asked the waitress. We then asked the owner, that blatantly lied to us: "The pancakes are cooking right now, they'll be out soon". And it took another 15 minutes. We had to go inside because we needed to pay because we had to go back to work. One colleague already had to leave. Then to top it all off, instead apologizing, the owner said: "When you're with such a big group, you need to call before". No sir. You would have to give us the heads up, or hire more people. This is so unprofessional, and you just prioritized other customers over us. Which is fine, but don't blame us. Never. Ever. Again.

Tried a baguette once, it was a nightmare, tasteless and cold baguette.

I got the chance to try this fame place out a few weeks ago. Ok, I didnt deserve the whole portion, as I already had something else which wasnt less tempting. No matter you picked Crepes or Gallettes, they should be to your favor. One in all, all in one. Great taste, nice service and fair price. Too bad the venue is very tiny and too simple, lets say its more a bistro to a maison to me. Yes, you could enjoy the baguettes outside tho, passing the busy Venloerstr., if you dont mind I'd def. come back. For sure, my recommendation!
